The Agricultural Commissioners and Sealers
promote and protect the agricultural industry, the environment
and the public of the State of California. As employees of
the County, they carry out the laws and regulations of the
state and enforce local ordinances. They provide the first
line of defense against the introduction of injurious plant
and animal pests and protect the consumer through their constant
and dedicated enforcement of agricultural and weights and
measures laws
and regulations.
